Key Responsibilities
Field Service & Diagnostics
- Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize OBD-type diagnostic software and specialized tools to accurately troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Electrical Expertise: Perform advanced electrical system testing, wire routing, and component replacement on emergency apparatus.
- Mobile Repairs: Travel to customer locations to deliver prompt, high-quality field repairs and minimize vehicle downtime.
Shop Operations (Winder, GA)
- New Truck Prep: Install aftermarket equipment, specialized gear, and final configurations on new fleet deliveries.
- Customer Vehicle Service: Complete standard maintenance, and upgrades on customer trucks brought into the shop.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment when working locally.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong proficiency in automotive/heavy-truck electrical systems and wiring schematics.
- Proven experience with OBD-type diagnostic tools and software scanner systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
- Ability to work independently on the road and collaboratively in a fast-paced shop environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or relevant certifications (ASE, EVT) is a major plus.
